That may seem like a pretty obvious statement, but I have ministered to and cared for Filipino children who live in poverty in garbage dumps in the Philippines.
No child should have to grow up in a stinky garbage dump, scrounging for moldy food and ratty clothing. Who will speak for them? Who will go share the gospel with them?
I will.
Why? Because I believe every filipino child deserves opportunity.

An opportunity to be clothed.
An opportunity to be educated.
An opportunity to be loved.
An opportunity to hear about Jesus.
Because of this belief and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, I go in obedience to share the gospel with the people of the Philippines.
And I want to display the love of Jesus to each filipino child with practical ministry like food, clothing, schooling, and medical care.

preaching in churches,
teaching in Bible colleges,
feeding the hungry,
caring for the sick,
ministering to the poor.
I love this work, I love these Philippine people, and I love our Lord, Jesus Christ. And, with the approval of God, I am committed to continuing this ministry.
Why? Because one Filipino child living in poverty in the Philippines is too many.
I serve with the blessing of my home church, Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church, in Jefferson, NC.
We are dedicated to preaching the gospel and serving God’s people in practical ministry throughout northern Luzon in the Philippines, and I am privileged to be used of God in this way.

Although my church supports me in prayer and administration, I am responsible for raising 100% of my own support, and I am also responsible for raising any support to help these children living in poverty. I know we cannot save everyone, but could you help just one?
Would you prayerfully consider supporting me in this vision of serving God in the Philippines?
Whether you give financially or not, please pray for me, my family, and these Philippine people, that God might continue to work in all of our lives.
Because a Philippine child should have the opportunity to simply live.
