The family is a major factor in Filipino traditions surrounding Christmas and other Philippine holidays and festivals.
The wonder of these beautiful people spills over in the the Western world through a unique and friendly Filipino American culture which thrives on friendliness and acceptance of other cultures.
In fact, the culture of the Philippines might be better said to be the Filipino cultures in the plural, instead of the singular, to demonstrate how Filipinos embrace, accept, and love a variety of people and their customs.
Of course, there are still Filipino customs of etiquette that any visitor should adapt to in order to avoid offending these wonderful people.
